An update! Unheard of! Just some tidbits in my life at them moment, while playing with a new journal theme.

Anime Evolution '09 has come and gone. I was able to make my first official appearance in the Artist's Alley this year. Despite some snags on Saturday, preventing me from showing up that day, everything went awesome. I sold out of my Digimon cards from both Season 1 & 2, most of Tamer's and Frontier and was able to get most of the other finished one sold as well. For prints, I sold out of my L:Sampling the Forbidden Fruit:, Pretty Rave Boy, Gospel Boost and some of the various line arts I brought. At the end, I was able to cover my print costs and come out a few hundred dollars richer, which has since gone to debts. lol Such is life.

I did have some people showing interest in purchasing some of the cards I had created. In regards to that, I'll be making an update in regards to it in a few days or so. I want to post the finished examples before fist, before I get ahead of myself. I still have a few orders from AE that I need to fill before I get on that.

I mentioned in my last post that Hugh and I were moving in with our other significant others, Nick and Melina. All that jazz went on earlier in the month and it's going very well. There's been some "drama", so to speak, mostly from lack of open communication but we're all working on it. I mean, what relationship doesn't have it's ups and downs? Considering in the situation I'm in, I've gotta think about 3 other people, not just 1, so good communication is essential. Slowly but surely, it's all falling into place like some sore of surreal harem anime, except this is real life. I wouldn't have it any other way and I'm stupidly happy. (most of the time lol)

Another upside to moving, I found most of my older sketchpads. I've been leafing through them for the past couple days and discovering work that I had totally forgot about. I'll be posting a few of the more completed ones tonight, as well as some of the ones I've touched up over that last day or so.

I'm in the process of cleaning up my dA gallery, as well. It's just a bloody mess to navigate through and It's been bugging me for a couple months now. I'll be working on that on and off for the next few days as well.

That's about it for now. I could post more, but those ideas would be better to have a post just dedicated to them, not just a paragraph.

Been ignoring my account for a bit, but not out of nothing to post.

In fact, one could say I've been oddly busy and productive... Some reasons being...

1) The waiting list pulled through & I got a full table to myself at Anime Evolution's Artist's Alley this year! If you'll be attending, do drop by. I can't tell you who to look for yet. lol I'll hopefully be able to complete my cosplay in time for the con, as my artwork is more important. I shall refrain from posting what it is until nearer to the date.

That being said, I'm absolutely swamped with work to get done. I have over 50 partially CGed WIPs and I've been prioritizing them for the sake of time and deciding what ones I should make for prints.

Another thing I decided to make are fanart card sets featuring the main characters from a variety of series. So far, the series I have drawn are Avater, All the Digimon characters except Savers (but I plan the add them as well), Sailor Moon, Gravitation and the girls from Final Fantasy 7. I'm also planing on drawing Gundam Wing, Fatal Frame, Kannazuki no Miko, Utena, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, Black Cat, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ayatsuri Sakon and Shadow Hearts. I won't have ALL the characters but I'll get as many as I can in.

I really don't expect to be sleeping much but such is life. I got ambition and drive to fuel me! X3

2) Hugh and I are moving out of my rat-hole-ish-yet-still-dope apartment in Downtown Vancouver to a basement suite in a nicer area of the city. 3-bedrooms, full kitchen+dishwasher, private laundry room/storage, outside space with an area to garden and pet friendly. I'm so excited! This has been made possible by some totally awesome and more-then-slightly-unexpected chain of events, ultimately leading to Hugh and I moving in to this apartment with our significant others, who themselves are in a relationship together. So much love's going around here I don't even know what to say! lol XD

So, all four of us shall be together as of June 1st. I haven't even thought of packing, as my artwork for AE and prior commitments come first and foremost. I'm glad I have Hugh to do the packing... >__>;; lol

Well, I'm getting back to work. I'll see what I can post here by the end of the night/morning. I need to get to sleep by 11am. <__<;;
